New Article January 2021: A ‘Secret Sauce’ for Leadership Development In this article I explore the challenges facing leaders and people managers who continue to support hybrid working and managing from afar. Using ‘The Work After Lockdown Study’ funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, I consider the challenges facing people leaders, and use leadership psychology to share a suite of principles ideal for leaders, HR professionals and managers. Do let me know your thoughts. If you are keen to support your line managers and leaders to become ‘amateur psychologists’, better able to succeed in 2021, then perhaps Pearlman-Shaw Consulting can help? Please message me to learn more, or to setup a telephone/zoom follow-up. Leadership Development in The Coronavirus Era Since March 2020 all our leadership development services have moved online. Coaching via phone or video has been a popular and effective option for some time. The exciting challenge has been translating our pragmatic leadership and team development programmes into online offers with maximum impact. We now offer interactive, multimedia ‘leadership impact modules’ on Zoom or MS Teams. We have deconstructed our in-situ workshops into ‘horizontal’ programmes, short chunks of practical learning followed by personal or team application. We support this by interactive online activities, live whiteboard demonstrations, small group sessions, pairs conversations and even video illustrations. A few recent testimonials:
